As an employee with us, you will be introduced to GYB Academy, our way of ensuring that all colleagues have the competence needed to deliver our services with the requisite quality. It is also a great way to gain specialized and valuable knowledge.
The first part of GYB Academy is a general introduction, covering practical aspects of working with us, presentation of our business areas and education covering our policies.
The next part of GYB academy is a basic education covering all the most essential parts in the relevant business area and adapted to the role the employee has. The blocks covering our basic education are normally completed no later than within a year after starting with us.
Following basic education, we offer advanced, more customized courses for all employees adapted to the individual role and responsibility of the employee. These blocks will form an important part of every employee's long term career plan with GYB.
GYB Academy is internally organized and we do most of the teaching inhouse but we also employ external experts for blocks such as within tax and certain technical areas. Some courses are also fully external, for instance areas of fund accounting and reporting where we may ask colleagues to take part in courses organized by reputable advisors or organizations.
